Unlikely or Impossible?

Imagine for a second that your playing a sport, and the coach calls you by name and says it is time for you to play! But it will be rough; the score of the other team is nearly 7 billion, and our score is almost 2 billion.
What would you think? How would you play? Would you play harder or would you just give up?
Guess what!?!? That is the estimated number of Christians, (2 billion) and Non-christians (7 billion). In Matthew 28:19-20 it tells us, "19 ¶Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
We are supposed to teach all nations and help them see the blessings of the gospel, and when they understand it, we are to help them be baptized by proper priesthood authority.
So that is where we are; our "score" is 2 billion, theirs is 7 billion. This can seem impossible to mankind, but the Lord has declared his help! "....for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up." (D&C 84:88)
To be able to have his help to the fullest extent he asks us to do a few things. He asks us to have an eye single to the glory of God. What does that mean and how can we do that? That means to try to walk as Jesus would and only do, say, and act as he would. Now God knows we are not perfect but as we have "a broken heart and a contrite spirit;" the Lord promises it is possible because "he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered." (2 Nephi 2:7)
We as believers in Christ should share what we know with those around us, even if everyone around you is a believer too. We all have struggles in life and I promise something in which you say will always benefit the one you shared it with as well as yourself! It might not be in that moment but it will happen! Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ love us and want us to succeed! They promise us their help and guidance!

Dare to stand alone!

These are all pictures that I have taken while out hunting since my return from my mission. They all have one recurring theme.... What is that...

All three of these pictures have the recurring theme of something standing alone!
This picture is an old grown over, beat up cabin. Even when we feel we are feeling old, beat up and alone we still have great beauty and purpose.

You have to look close but you can see one tree who has already changed colors! It's the "odd duck" of the trees, because it's "different." But in fact it is what most think as more beautiful.

There has been one who has been counted as all of these examples. He has been seen as the greatest of all and the king of kings but has also been counted as the lowest of men.

Because of him it doesn't matter what we are called or how we're looked at, we can know who we really are. Just like the Savior was looked at as great in the eyes of some, but by some he was seen as not a great person. We know who we are  we know that we have the ability to grow closer to the savior and develope more of his great attributes! Let us all remember that we are daughters and sons of God. We don't need to let the things of the world distract us from our end goal in sight which is to become more like Jesus Christ and ultimately return to live with our Father in Heaven!
